Nocturnal Whims
I'm seriously disappointed in the state of Virginia. Why aren't there more 24/7 establishments?
Why are the establishments that are SUPPOSED to be, not 24/7 in VA?
For instance - IHOP, Walmart, Taco Bell etc.. should all be open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. What do the nocturnal beings do with their time if not hang out at the local Walmart or IHOP? Is this a way to keep 'wannabe' vampires out?
I would like very much to go shopping. There are places that have 24/7 drive thru Starbucks even! All I can do is idly browse through Amazon, and pretend to pay attention to the board game that is being played in front of me.
So tonight I suppose I'll probably finish painting the base coat in the guest bathroom, but really I'd rather be at a 24/7 Target shopping for nothing I actually need.

If you are pretending to pay attention to the "bored game", you should work on your acting skills.
I found it pretty obvious you were not paying attention. :P
I noticed this when I moved from CO to Philly. In CO, all pancake places (IHOP, Denny's, Perkin's, Village Inn, etc) are open 24-7, as are all Walmarts, Walgreens, CVS, grocery stores, etc. If you have nothing else to do at 3am, you go eat pancakes, buy some new clothes at walmart and do some grocery shopping before heading to bed.
In PA, everything closes. Even Walgreens closes at 10pm! IHOPs close a 9 or 10, and Dairy Queen clothes for MONTHS at a time in the winter. Um, what? People eat ice cream in the winter too! And they have hot dogs and such as well. I just don't get it.
